Our mission is to establish a prestigious, data-driven national certification that recognizes and promotes excellence in tourism services. By building a comprehensive National Tourism Platform (NTP) and leveraging innovative technologies like blockchain for review verification, we aim to enhance tourist experiences, empower businesses with actionable insights, and solidify Vietnam‘s position as a world-class travel destination. 

Job Summary: 

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building, managing, and automating our cloud infrastructure. You will ensure the Visit Vietnam platform is scalable, secure, and highly available, enabling rapid development and deployment cycles while planning for terabyte-scale data growth. 

Reports To: - Solution Architect 

Employment Type: - Full-time 

Location: - Hanoi, Vietnam (On-site) 

Key Responsibilities: 

- Design, build, and maintain a scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure on a major cloud provider (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) to host the National Tourism Platform. 

- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, testing, and deployment of our applications. 

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage the environment. 

- Configure and manage system monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure high availability and performance. 

- Implement and manage security best practices across the infrastructure, protecting sensitive data and systems. 

- Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes to ensure data integrity and safety. 

- Collaborate with the development team to optimize application performance and streamline the development workflow. 

- Plan for infrastructure scalability to support projected data growth. 

Qualifications (Must-Haves): 

- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering role. 

- Strong hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (AWS strongly preferred). 

- Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). 

- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). 

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). 

- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python). 

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack). 

Qualifications (Preferred): 

- Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer). 

- Experience managing infrastructure for data-intensive applications or data lakes. 

- Knowledge of network security and cloud security best practices. 

- Experience with database administration (SQL and NoSQL).
