I. JOB OVERVIEW
- Reports to: Director – Maintenance & Safety, Sun World Group
- The role is responsible for overseeing the Maintenance and Safety functions for all amusement devices, cable systems, Water Park at the Sun World Park/s within the scope of responsibility.
II. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop the Maintenance Plan in accordance with Manufacturer guidelines, international and internal standards;
- Develop SOPs, Checklists, Tool and Equipment lists, PPE requirements and provide training to Technical Employees to ensure the safe and efficient execution;
- Facilitating onboarding training and developing ongoing specialist training for all Department Staff;
- Liaise with equipment manufacturer for spare parts, troubleshooting, fault resolution, servicing requirements, special project works/annual maintenance and coordinate plans with the Park/s;
- Keep proper and complete overview of Maintenance and Safety Departments and related activities;
- Reviews and comments on new designs and construction;
- Review annual budget with SWG Maintenance Director, and in consultation with the Sun World Park/s GM;
- Overview and manage high voltage system, fire fighting systems according to Vietnamese regulation/Law;
- Analyse failures and improve downtime performance;
- Ensuring all reporting requirements are undertaken (daily reports, corrective action / maintenance reports, incident reports, etc);
- Complete other duties requested by management.
III. JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree or higher in major of mechanical, civil or electrical engineering;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in an international tourist attraction (or ski resort) with Water Park equipment;
- Hands-on experience in budgeting and cost analysis, working with Cable Cars, and willingness to be hands-on, working directly on site to direct and supervise the work;
- Understanding of International Safety standards that apply to Cable Car operations and maintenance. (ASTM, ISO, EN);
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD;
- Able to develop and implement a plan for department strategies and efficiency;
- Ability to train and coach staff, lead and motivate others to achieve results;
- Ability to develop and implement SOPs, checklists, according to Manufacturer Manuals and industry best-practice;
- Own analytical mindset, excellent leadership, self-management, organisational and decision making skills;
- Stays updated on new technologies;
- Can work under high pressure;
